So here is a bit about me - Judy Murray

I am a first year PhD student.

My place of birth is St Louis Park, Minnesota USA. The date is not important....its just a number.....

My thesis relates to American voters overseas, their voting patterns and behaviours, and the manner in which candidates and parties attempt to capture the attention of this group of political actors. My project stems from the 2000 Presidential Election in which the state of Florida was 'won' by overseas absentee votes.

Other areas of interest include globalisation, political theory - particularly Locke, medieval history, my dog and motorcycles. I also am a competitive Highland Dancer and am working towards my teaching members in the UK Dance Teachers Alliance.

I was employed by Northern Rock as a fraud investigator.
